Seit über 5 Jahren hatte ich Skizzen zu einer Verfolgungsjagd mit einem kleinen Tannenbaum und einem Holzfäller in der Schublade aber nie richtig Zeit gehabt sie umzusetzen. Um mich von dem tristen Pandemie-Advent 2020 abzulenken und möglicherweise auch andere aufzumuntern, habe ich dann Ende November angefangen daraus diese Advent-Bilder-Geschichte zu machen. Da sich die „story“-Funktion auf instagram für die Bildgeschichte recht gut eignet, weil man da so schön durch „swipen“ kann und eine große Bild-Fläche zur Verfügung hat, hab ich sie dort jeden Tag in den „stories“ gepostet. Eigentlich wollte ich für jeden Adventstag nur ein paar Bilder zeichnen aber es ist dann an mancher Stelle etwas ausgeartet... :) Nun kann man sie unten einzeln anklicken oder in einem durch.
For over 5 years I had sketches of a silly chase between a lumberjack and a christmas tree collecting dust in my drawers. I would pull them out every once in a while but never had the time and drive to finish it. Late November 2020 I dusted them off and made this picture/comic-story to distract myself and get into a more christmassy mood despite everything that was going on and hopefully also cheer up others. So I posted the pictures in my „stories“ on instagram each day. I found the instagram-story feature kind of perfect for this advent-adventure because it is easy to swipe through, you can post a full-screen picture and it is only up for 24h. At the beginning I planned on drawing a couple of pictures for each day but it got a bit out of hand at times... :) Now below you can click on them seperately or through all of them.
